In reality, some are confused on what specific action would best fit them. Some chose being employed, some to be a freelancer and some stay at home being a full time mom. But have you ever ask yourself if there’s any other way you can work and at the same time be with your family but still be productive even you are not settled from an 8 to 5 hour job?

I’m inspired by my Pastor’s message that says, woman can do all things especially the daily household chores, paying bills, the responsibility with your husband and kids, preparing everything. Such all has no difference either of what your housemaid can do. So, in order to be great as a woman, if you make and do beyond what are capable anyone can do then you are considered to be great. A great woman!

Responsibilities and Struggles are Real

We all know that being a mother is especially difficult. From the time we wake up until we close our eyes. All the responsibilities that are set before us and have to face every single day til you feel so exhausted even if you are good in time management sometimes failed. Because not at all times we are in a good mood. Sometimes we are in a mood of being positive, sometimes feeling angry or sad and sometimes feeling alone or empty. All those feelings or emotions might also affect our daily lives. That’s why what we really ought to do first things first is to ask God in prayer that may He guide our ways and second, everytime we wake up, have our bed fixed before we do things that we always do and make it a habit. Because if we cannot do simple task how much more the bigger one. Staying organized is also about having a clean environment.

Life Experience Teach us to Move Forward

We all end up being employed because that’s the least we can do if we are not a business minded person. Expecting income but still lacking with so many expenses. And when doing a business, there are also a lot of things to consider. In working at home at least you have a time for your family, housework and for yourself. But being a full-time working mother can lead to feelings of guilt and stress because of divided attention between work and family. The key here is to focus on a plan, get organized, and find the right balance between profession and parenthood. Here are ways to reach closer to our ideal work-life balance and make sure both career and family flourish.

Think in Advance

The night before, plan all the things you will do for tomorrow. You can jot it down on a note if you want. Lay out the kids’ clothes (plus yours and your husband as well). Decide what to make for breakfast, lunch meals and dinner.

Create a Calendar

Make a to-do list schedule for some appointment, activity with the kids, going to grocery store, school activity. Help also your child to make them accomplish, monitor their activity, assignment and house chores by making their own schedule chart to lessen also your job.

Centralized Station

Place all the important things in this station where you will put your keys, hygiene items, charger, battery, flashlight, coin purse to save more time.

Disciplined Yourself

Reduce TV watching some time for a week to maximize time with your husband during evening same as limiting yourself in casual internet surfing.

Let Go of the Guilt

Rather than dwell on how you are not with your kids, still it’s a blessing that you are doing great things for them being productive and providing their needs aside from husbands work, think about how your role benefit the family.

You will be productive if you have these traits: focus, determination and time with what you love to do especially if you don’t want to be in an office setting, you will surely find a way to make everything worth of your time. Work at home is not that easy at first but try to improve yourself by gaining more knowledge and learning. If you make it a habit everything else will follow. Don’t settle for less aim for the best. As what my coach says that everything that is planned, calculated and measured will succeed.
